Katherine LaVerdiere

Katherine grew up in Maine in a bowling family where she succeeded as a youth bowler, beginning with candlepin at age 5 and later moving to tenpin.   Katherine stepped away from bowling for 20 years to pursue her professional career.   After having kids, she went back to the bowling community, became a Registered Volunteer and began coaching bumpers and bantams.  Katherine is now a USBC Silver Certified Coach and has coached youth leagues at Wayne Webb Columbus Bowl (2015-2018) and most recently joined the Sequoia Pro Bowl Coaching Staff (2018-2019).  On the side, she coaches a USA Bowling Team that will compete in the USA Bowling National Tournament.

 

Katherine holds a B.S in Chemical Engineering from the University of Maine in Orono, ME, an M.B.A. in Finance from Georgia State University and is a Certified Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma.  Katherine is a consulting professional in Operational Excellence with 25+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Chemicals and related industries.  Katherine is currently the owner and principal consultant of Excelora LLC.
